This project has shown me a lot about how poetry can tell stories about people beyond their original meanings.
In my case, what started as a series of individual stories gradually became a collage of greater ideas about my life,
and how I can make light of the many negative emtions that I may encounter. I let humor and creativity act as a vessel
for me to write about frustration, craziness and happiness. These poems have shown me that these negative emotions are
important to keep and understand. Without negativity, positivity holds no value. This project has shown me that poetry
holds more than a single meaning to a single person. The meaning of poetry is subjective, and it is created for people
to explore there own emtions. For me, poetry is the doorway between my analytical and emtional self, a connection that
can rarely be replicated by any other artforms.
